Dear Curious Souls,
I'm excited to share with you that I was recently interviewed in Oprah Magazine about philosophical counseling! They've done a great write-up in their Spring, 2021 edition (currently on newsstands) that helps people understand the benefits of philosophical discussion for coping with trying times, big life changes, perennial struggles, and, ya know, those pesky existential crises that pop up from time to time. As we celebrate our fifth birthday at Curious Soul, I have been reflecting on how honored I have been to work with clients on their difficult questions about meaning and purpose, ethics and values, identity, change and loss, alienation, power and injustice — to name a few. Nothing has been more rewarding than to get into the trenches with folks who are struggling to use their own critical and creative thinking to make a more fulfilling and authentic life for themselves. Together, we get our hands dirty, we navigate the rocky field of life together, and we become partners in philosophical exploration.
